San Diego Comic-Con attendees are in for a treat this year as FX introduces a series of immersive experiences from July 25-28. Fans can look forward to interactive spaces based on some of FX’s most beloved shows, including The Bear, American Horror Story, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and What We Do in the Shadows.
The Bear Restaurant Pop-Up
Step into the world of FX’s The Bear and experience a unique restaurant pop-up. Visitors can explore the interior of the fictional eatery and enjoy a daily chef’s special, which includes exclusive merchandise available while supplies last. This immersive space promises to transport fans directly into the show’s culinary atmosphere.
FX Fearless Hellevator
Thrill-seekers can ride the FX Fearless Hellevator, an attraction featuring twelve spine-chilling moments from the American Horror Story universe. This experience also offers a sneak peek into Grotesquerie, the new horror series from Ryan Murphy premiering this fall. It’s a must-visit for horror aficionados.
Paddy’s Pub from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia
Fans of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia will have the opportunity to pose for photos outside Paddy’s Pub, the iconic Irish bar beloved by The Gang. This photo op is perfect for capturing memories with fellow fans of the long-running comedy series.

The FX activations will take place at the Hilton Bayfront Lawn, running from Thursday, July 25 to Sunday, July 28. The hours of operation are as follows:
- Thursday, July 25: 11am – 6pm
- Friday, July 26: 10am – 6pm
- Saturday, July 27: 10am – 6pm
- Sunday, July 28: 11am – 4pm
These experiences are open to the public and free of charge. However, attendees must be 18 years or older to participate.
