FX has announced the return dates of some of their more popular shows. The long-running It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia will return for an impressive fourteenth season on September 25. Arguably one of the greatest shows of all-time, the series have reduced the number of episodes for the last few season to 10 making production easier and keeping the quality of the show up.
The Sons of Anarchy spin-off, Mayans M.C. is set to premiere its sophomore season on September 3. I was a fan of SOA and actually quite enjoyed the first season of Mayans M.C., I mat even like EZ better than Jax, as EZ is much more level-headed, where at times Jax Teller’s behavior could border on sociopathic (and, at times, crossed that line), while still showing he had a heart. With the cliffhanger the show left viewers with at the end of the season, I’m excited the show’s return isn’t too far away.

Another show that was given a premiere date was Mr. Inbetween. Until writing this aritcle I was unaware of the show. Mr. Inbetween is based on the 2005 film The Magician. The series stars Scott Ryan, who also is credited as a writer and producer on the show, as Ray Shoesmith, a man who wears many hats, such as father, ex-husband, boyfriend, best friend and criminal. I may put the show in the queue as it has peaked my interest, though I likely won’t be able to get to it for a while. Season 2 of Mr. Inbetween returns on Septemeber 12.
