NatGeo's IMPACT with Gal Gadot - Kameryn Everett

In the past year of pandemics, protests, riots, and dreary news, the world needs uplifting inspirational stories that’ll motivate action and change the world. As an executive producer, Gal Gadot seeks female-driven stories in the past year who made changes in their community in National Geographic’s IMPACT.

National Geographic presents IMPACT with Gal Gadot is a short-form documentary series that follows the powerful stories of six women who are making an extraordinary impact on their communities around the world. Despite living in areas marred by violence, poverty, trauma, discrimination, oppression, and natural disasters, these brave women remain undeterred as they dare to dream, stand out, speak up, and lead.

In today’s premiere episode, it follows a story of a 20-year-old figure skater in Detroit, who has dedicated her life to coaching young girls of color to empower them both on and off the ice.
