Mission: Impossible 7 and 8 may continue to be delayed because of Paramount pushing release dates, but they are still very much on the way.
Director Christopher McQuarrie has been very giving on Instagram, often sharing behind the scene looks at the stunts, cast, and locales. We’ve seen evidence of a stunt jumping a motorcycle off a giant ramp into a valley. He’s also shared beautiful vast deserts. Not to mention, we’ve seen shots that appear to be both inside and on top of the same train.

Usually the shots seem to be from a still camera McQuarrie has on the set of Mission: Impossible 7. Today though, the writer/director shared something that looked a little more like the final product.
See? That looks like a frame of nearly finished film to me. A new photo of Tom Cruise handing off a vehicle moving a little to fast. Classic Mission: Impossible.
I mean, classic, Mission: Impossible, as this scene feels like a slight callback to the finale of the first film in the franchise.
