A bit of Barside Buzz for The Fantastic Four today as one leaker claims Galactus is a unique being in the Multiverse, just like America Chavez. As we already know, the majority of individuals in the Multiverse have variants. Some of these every much like the original, others, not so much. However Multiverse of Madness established that Universe hopping America Chavez was a unique being, so had no variants across the Multiverse. Chavez also has the ability to travel between these realities.
We know Galactus is the main villain (If you can call Galactus a villain) of The Fantastic Four: First Steps. We also know this movie is set in a different Universe, with a futuristic version of New York in the 60’s being the main setting. Now Alex Perez of TCC claims that he has information that Galactus, like Chavez, will be a unique being in the Multiverse. I.e. there’s only one of him across all reality. Perez revealed this information on TCC‘s Marvel podcast for SDCC. He also followed up with a fan commenting on how it’s a bad theory for several reasons on X. Perez pointed out he doesn’t give theories, but solid information from sources.
Given Alex hit rate (very good), I’m inclined to believe this is correct information.

I think it would also make sense to me that Galactus can travel between Multiverses looking for food. Perhaps he siphons entire Universes until little is left and then moves to another? Maybe the team fail to stop him and have to flee their Universe before it collapses. The add in rumors that Julia Garner is only playing Surfer for this one movie. Perhaps Galactus needs a new herald for every Universe he enters? Maybe in the 616 he chooses Norrin Radd instead of his wife Shalla-Bal?
That’s pure speculation on my part though. For now all we can go on is what Alex said on the podcast. That Galactus is a unique being in the Multiverse like America Chavez.
