I have been very critical of Disney since they took over operations in a galaxy far, far away. However, Galaxy’s Edge and the attractions at their theme parks that lie within it have seriously blown me away. I could not be more impressed with the work they’ve done, and I haven’t even had a chance to experience the rides in person.
Both Smuggler’s Run and Rise of the Resistance, appear to be, the best I can tell from a video anyway, some of the most immersive experiences at a theme park, ever. Add those in with first-hand accounts of fellow LRM contributors and, golly gee mister, I want to take a trip to visit the Mouse.

One of the reasons I believed Star Wars to be in good hands when Disney acquired it, was the previous collaborations with Star Wars and the Mouse, such as the Star Tours attraction. It seems as if the company still has the know-how as far as theme park rides (in my opinion) but has yet to apply that vision to the films of the franchise.
Once everything returns to normal, I hope to make my way out to California, or better yet to Florida, as I have never been to those parks and hear many good things about them. It’s been far too long since I’ve had a visit to any theme park at all, so I’m itchin’ to get on a roller coaster.
