If you grew up playing video games in the late ‘90s through the early 2000s then at one point in time you played EA’s Tiger Woods Golf on some type of platform. It was the easiest way to learn the game of golf without having to actually spend hours on the driving range trying to fix a slice or hook. The unlimited amount of customization over characters from appearance, equipment, and swing style was a . When Tiger had to step away from golf for various reasons EA tried to keep the popular franchise going. Unfortunately, it couldn’t keep the momentum and left players to play golf games like Golden Tee or mobile platform golf games.

Today, Electronic Arts Inc. announced EA SPORTS PGA TOUR, a new next-gen golf video game, currently in development. In EA SPORTS PGA TOUR, golf fans will be able to build their virtual career and experience the sights, sounds, and thrills of the PGA TOUR including THE PLAYERS Championship, FedExCup Playoffs and more unforgettable events. In addition the game will also feature many of the world’s most famous courses, where fans will have the option to play against and as some of the biggest names in professional golf. 2021 has been a busy year in regards to EA Sports lineup. With already a strong card of FIFA, Madden NFL, UFC, and the NHL the company plans to relaunch it’s NCAA Football franchise along with taking FIFA more globally. The exciting part is the game will be built on the EA Frostbite engine. According to EA this will leverage next-gen technology, promise stunning fidelity, breathtaking immersive environments, and approachable, dynamic gameplay.
