According to a new rumor on the Barside Buzz, a Ghost Rider project was planned pre-strikes and the source says it will move ahead once those strikes conclude. The information comes from leaker MTTSH, who as usual has posted the claim on social media. Check out what she had to say below.

‘New Ghost Rider solo project was in development pre-strikes. They will move forward with it post-strikes’
There were rumors a while ago that Marvel Studios were looking to develop a Ghost Rider project. So far there were no actors attached, nor any talent mentioned on the creative side. In fact, we don’t even know which version of Ghost Rider this may be?
This was always likely given that we think Marvel are building to a Midnight Sons team up. So far Marvel has only dipped it’s toes into the supernatural side of the MCU. However, we know a Blade movie is in development. Thus far, we’ve had a Moon Knight series and a Werewolf by Night Special Presentation which also introduced Man-Thing.

Though, it is also worth noting that the MCU is currently being slowed down. Rumors are that the budget for Disney+ shows will reduce with projects going back to movie theatres. One criticism so far of Phase 4 and 5 has been that every project seems to introduce a new corner of the MCU, then tease a follow up, then none of those follow ups seem to materialize. Ergo, with WBN and Moon Knight already out, plus Blade definitley moving ahead, I feel like Ghost Rider is an inevitability, but who can say for sure?
If and when Ghost Rider does show up in the MCU, will it be Johnny Blaze, Robbie Reyes, Danny Ketch or the others?
What do you think of the rumor a Ghost Rider project was planned pre-strikes and the source says it will move ahead once those strikes conclude? As always, leave any thoughts below.
