At some point fans will get a new actor in the role along with the rest of the X-Men. Hollywood offers a wide range of choices, but the fanart that you can find low is one of the more interesting I’ve come across. Instagram user mizuriau has given fans a beautiful poster that has Charlie Hunnam in the role of the beloved mutant. Now Hunnam wouldn’t have been my first choice, but after looking at the poster, I’m more than open to it.

I’m actually kind of surprised Charlie Hunnam hasn’t been snatched up by Marvel or DC by now. Hunnam has been suggested more than once to be the big-screen version of Green Arrow, and hat also seems like it would be a really great piece of casting. Not long ago news came down that Deadpool 3 was in the works.

This is first property to get movement on that Marvel reacquired when Disney bought Fox. Seeing as how the X-Men, as well as Fantastic Four were also part of that deal, it’s likely we could get some news on these two in the near future. Or perhaps that’s just wishful thinking on my part.

As much as some fans would like the Wolverine we have all known for the last 20 or so years, the attempts by Ryan Reynolds to have Hugh Jackman return as Wolverine have been unsuccessful. And unfortunately, if Reynolds can’t do it, it’s likely no one can.
