Go Team Venture! HBO Max Boss Reignites Hope For The Future Of The Venture Bros.

Go Team Venture

Go Team Venture

Let’s get it out of the way… Go Team Venture! During the waning days of summer, we learned that the show had been canceled by Adult Swim and The Cartoon Network. Creators Jackson Publick And Doc Hammer seemed to indicate they had known for months about the cancelation, but none of that mattered. The fans were left with massive cliffhangers that had huge implications for the entire series’ history! Can you imagine that pain?

A New Hope

Okay, it isn’t really a new hope. Fans immediately began asking for streaming services to pick up the property and give us one last season. I proposed the idea of a two hour-ish movie to be on streaming and home video some time ago myself. So it should not surprise anyone that the streaming home of Cartoon Network and Adult Swim is offering the series a helping hand.

That’s right, the boss of HBO Max itself is ready to help save the beloved series. This makes logical sense as every service out there is looking for original content to offer current and potential subscribers. Hulu has a revamped Animaniacs coming out and Disney+ has the promise of 257 MCU shows and 341 Star Wars shows, and HBO Max is betting on its Zack Snyder’s Justice League to be part of the enticing morsels that are supposed to keep us subscribed and bring in new sources of income… people.

This news must feel amazing for fans. As I mentioned before, fans were left with several cliffhangers that have repercussions going back to the first episodes. A resolution must be made and nothing short of glorious victory will be accepted! Fans of the series deserve closure. This fan can only say… Go Team Venture!
