Gotham Season 5 Trailer: Batman Is Coming

Fox’s Gotham will premiere its fifth and final season early next year. Until then, the network has released a trailer for the upcoming season, which is titled, “Legend of the Dark Knight”. The show’s final act will see young Bruce Wayne finally step into the role of the Caped Crusader, and down the famous cowl and cape.

While fans of the show have got their fill of Penguin, Riddler, Catwoman, and what is essentially the Joker, one of the major Batman villains that has been absent from the show looks to be a huge part of the final season. Fan favorite Bane is set to make his presence known in Gotham City. You can check out the trailer at the top of the article.

When the show was first announced, I was skeptical as to how a show about Gotham City would work without Batman. Needless to say, it wasn’t long before I was convinced it could work, as it’s one of the few shows on network television that still has my attention. Granted the show has bordered on silliness at times, but if you’re a fan of the Batman mythos, Gotham is a fun show.
