In less than a month, we will see Laurie, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Michael Myers face off again. Universal Pictures has released the final trailer of Halloween Kills. The trailer looks great and Curtis is such a bad ass actor, but I’m not dying to see it. I am interested, though. Halloween Kills hits theaters and streams on Peacock on October 15.
Minutes after Laurie Strode (Curtis), her daughter Karen (Judy Greer) and granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) left masked monster Michael Myers caged and burning in Laurie’s basement, Laurie is rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, believing she finally killed her lifelong tormentor.
But when Michael manages to free himself from Laurie’s trap, his ritual bloodbath resumes. As Laurie fights her pain and prepares to defend herself against him, she inspires all of Haddonfield to rise up against their unstoppable monster.
The Strode women join a group of other survivors of Michael’s first rampage who decide to take matters into their own hands, forming a vigilante mob that sets out to hunt Michael down, once and for all.

Hmm… “Evil dies tonight.” Will it? Michael Myers just won’t die. I doubt it’ll finally be over at the end of Halloween Kills. It might just look like it from the audience’s perspective and that’s just me guessing the end of the movie. I haven’t seen it yet, what the hell do I know? But the Halloween franchise will need to leave room for another film if they want another. I love 1978’s Halloween and I really enjoyed Rob Zombie’s Halloween remakes. But this killer has taken on so much damage from his murdering over the decades and he still stands. Quite the super natural power he has. I don’t think he’ll be leaving the land of the living anytime soon.
