Freestyle Digital Media announced the theatrical release dates and DVD release date for the anticipated mixed narrative documentary film Iron Temple.
The film follows the journey of the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) pro Tony Torres, who grew up in the streets of New York. Tony then became attracted to bodybuilding, idolized bodybuilders, and wanted to be one. Through his time becoming a bodybuilder, Tony ventured into the adult entertainment industry and built a lucrative lifestyle, right before it all came crashing down. After covering a murder for a friend and being chased by the FBI, he was sent to prison for five years. After doing his time, he had to build back his life from the bottom. Tony started a small gym and trained IFBB professionals from coast to coast. Tony Torres is what you would call an overcomer. Every time he was dealt a bad hand, Tony would always power through and come out on top.

“Iron Temple allowed me the opportunity to incorporate two types of movie genres—a documentary and a narrative,” said filmmaker Aaron M. Abelto. “This made Tony’s journey of a real redemption story worth telling, encompassing all the comeback elements needed to achieve his goals, despite life’s hardships.”
Iron Temple is available to rent and own on DVD with worldwide streaming on Internet, cable, and satellite platforms on November 2. It premieres at the Laemmle Monica Film Center in Santa Monica from October 8-14. Then the film will be followed by another theatrical release at the Silverspot Cinema in Downtown Miami from October 22-28.
