Han Solo: Director Ron Howard Teases New Vehicle In BTS Image Of Star Wars Spinoff

The social media-savvy director Ron Howard has taken to Twitter once again to share a new behind-the-scenes image from the upcoming Star Wars spinoff film, Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Check it out below:

While we still may not be completely sure just how this film will turn out, there are a couple notable things there to look forward to. Based on the photo, it looks like things will be grungier than ever — in true Star Wars fashion. Pieces of equipment will have a sort of rugged, retro-futuristic look to it that’s all kinds of fun to eat up. Plus, it looks like we’ll be getting a whole new vehicle in this film to over-analyze, which is always a plus.

Solo: A Star Wars Story has been making headlines ever since Lucasfilm announced the departure of original director Phil Lord and Chris Miller. With only a few weeks left in production, they brought on Ron Howard to take the reins, and since then, they’ve reportedly reshot a whole lot of material to make it all more in-keeping with what writer Lawrence Kasdan had in mind when he wrote the screenplay.

Howard has done a great job of keeping things going on social media since then. Fans would be having a lot of trepidation after the sacking of Lord and Miller, and getting these peeks behind-the-scenes goes a long way to seeing things actually getting made. Let’s hope it results in a great film!
