Netflix Releases Trailer For Darkly Hilarious Series, The End Of The F**king World

Netflix has quickly made itself to the go-to destination for incredibly off-kilter material. From movies like Bright, Death Note, and Okja to series like The Santa Clarita Diet, they’re not really known for playing it safe. This is something that certainly seems to apply to one of their latest offerings, The End of the F**king World.

All in all, it seems like a risky prospect of a show. In addition to being a series with a f**king expletive in the title, it features a potentially unlikable lead character in the form of James — a boy who is likely clinically a psychopath. The film follows him and a girl named Alyssa. While she looks at him as a potential love interest, he views her as a potential candidate for his first murder. One thing leads to another, and the pair set off on a road trip of self-discovery.

The End of the F**king World is based on the graphic novel by Charles Fosman, and it looks like it can be another surprise hit for Netflix users to enjoy — assuming that this dark sense of humor is your style.

If nothing else, based on this trailer, it looks like they’re not trying to hide what this show is. In true Netflix form, they seem to be shooting for very niche demographics, in hopes that its smaller audiences will flock to the show in high percentages.
