New York Comic Con is underway right now, and DC Universe has some s**t to prove. Sure, to me, Titans looks to be a pretty solid little show, but even those who agree aren’t sure the streaming service is worth the value. They need to convince everyone that the well won’t dry up once Titans has been binged, and the Harley Quinn teaser is indicative of that.
This teaser sees Harley Quinn in Arkham Asylum along with Poison Ivy. In true Deadpool style, she talks to the camera, pretty much touting how awesome her show is going to be, which is fitting given that her character has basically turned into DC’s own Deadpool in the comics. From the looks of it, the show will be a fun, lighthearted adult-centered comedy, though one that may bleep their more mature words (unless this was just for the teaser).
Also notable is that Big Bang Theory‘s Kaley Cuoco is voicing the role of Harley Quinn, in spite of some fans’ hopes that Margot Robbie would be reprising her role from Suicide Squad. Sadly, that isn’t the case, but Cuoco seems to be doing a pretty solid job. As a side note, Cuoco’s co-star Melissa Rauch also played Harley in the 2017 animated film Batman and Harley Quinn.
