Final Titans Trailer Shows Off Violent Campy Goodness

Titans has officially premiered at New York Comic Con. And you know what that means. It means that us normies are now getting a trailer for the show that shows us more of what the show has to offer (should I say “show” again?). And while I think the second trailer was much stronger in terms of showing off the narrative angle of the new series, this one is a lot more flashy.

Like the others, we see that Raven is front-and-center of the main plot. But don’t get caught up in the plot too quickly, because they have some action to show off for you! from the oft-seen alleyway scene with Robin, to CG-filled ones involving Starfire and Beast Boy’s animal transformations. Yes, this is a campy TV show, but it’s willing to go all-out, and it does look like a step up from the stuff we’re getting on the CW, and it certainly seems a bit more ambitious than the Marvel/Netflix shows in terms of its scope and visuals, for better or worse.

Below is the official synopsis to Titans:

“From executive producers Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, and Greg Berlanti, TITANS follows a group of young soon-to-be Super Heroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. In this action-packed series, Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become leader of a fearless band of new heroes, including Starfire, Beast Boy, Raven and others.”
