Seriously, the Harley Quinn DC Universe series is like the Cobra Kai of the streaming service. What do I mean by that? Well, Cobra Kai may not have set the world on fire in terms of its ratings, but virtually everyone I’ve spoken to who’s seen it absolutely loves it. I have yet to hear any complaints about that show and the same thing can virtually be said about Harley Quinn. Even those who saw Birds of Prey seem to think that the DC Universe show is the superior one, and that’s saying something.
Luckily for you fans, a second season is on the way. It’s seriously not even that far away. The show pops back onto the streaming service on April 3, and in anticipation of that, DC Universe has dropped a new trailer filled with plenty of fun jokes. You can check it out down below!
There are three takeaways from this trailer. First is Batgirl. We get our first glimpse of the character donning a look similar to the 2015 run of the character. And in terms of her personality, it sounds like she could be something of an adrenaline junkie who gets kicks out of being a superhero.

The second noteworthy thing is the introduction of Catwoman. She’s very much sporting a classic look and I don’t think there will be much complaining from fans of the character.
The third noteworthy thing is the potential romance between Harley and Poison Ivy. Of course, the two have a romantic history in the comics, and their relationship is something that’s been mentioned by creators in the past. In the trailer, we see the two of them holding hands, likely indicating that they’ll be taking things to the next level.
All in all, it looks like this series is continuing what it started with its first season, and if the series follows through on its quality, I’m sure there will be many happy fans.
