Well, this is a rumor I was not expecting, but it seems two leakers are claiming singer/actress Lady Gaga has landed a role in the X-Men film. Gaga has acted in film before, so it’s perhaps not that surprising. Then again, I imagine she commands a hefty fee, so..?
The initial claim comes from MTTSH which Alex Perez Of TCC seems to be backing up in his post below.

No one seems to have any idea who she may be playing if this rumor checks out. Sure, there’s fan speculation on any female X-Men character, but actual rumors, no.

The main cast of the new X-Men film has still to be rounded out. However, Gaga is hardly in fitting with the age profile of everyone else. Therefore, if Gaga is in the film I assume she is not playing one of the students of Professor X. Outside of that, anybody’s guess is as good as mine. Perhaps she’s pairing up again with House of Gucci co-star Adam Driver, who will play villain Mister Sinister in the film?
I would think that if this one does end up being true, the trades would not sit on it long. If we hear nothing about Gaga from trades by the time production starts early next year, then I’m calling BS. Long time before we get to that though.
