Has The Wonder Woman 1984 Runtime Been Revealed?

Wonder Woman

What is the Wonder Woman 1984 runtime?

Oh yeah. It’s that time. It’s time where we try and guess the runtime of a new film. Well, guess is the wrong word. For the most part, we take numbers from various theater or ratings board sources, which do have runtimes to work off of. But it’s always a big question mark as to whether or not this is reflective of the final runtime in the flick. So, as with all runtime news, be sure to take it all with a grain of salt.

However, the rating certificate from the Korea Rating Board (via Batman News) states the film is 150 minutes long. That translates to two hours and thirty minutes — a not-insignificant length for a standalone movie. It is roughly nine minutes longer than its predecessor, and on the longer side for a standalone flick. If nothing else, it doesn’t look like the movie is going to be rushing to meet any runtime quotas.

Of course, the film doesn’t seem to be hurting for a ton of potential conflict. Wonder Woman 1984 will see the return of Chris Pine’s Steve Trevor and the introduction of two villains. In addition to Cheetah, played by Kristen Wiig, Wonder Woman will have to deal with magnate Maxwell Lord. That’s more than enough content to make up two-and-a-half hours.

But, as I stated above, you need to make sure to take this all with a grain of salt. We hear about early runtimes all the time, as things may change as temporary runtimes are replaced in favor of the real deal. That being said, one tick in favor of this being real is the fact that this movie was supposed to come out in June. It’s likely been done for some time now, so there’s no reason to think a temporary runtime would be submitted.

Does 150 minutes seem to be a good runtime for Wonder Woman 1984? Let us know your thoughts down below!
