HBO Max Video Relives ‘The Moment’ Snyder Cut Release Was Made Official

It had been a while since the internet was filled with DC buzz. As we all know by now Wednesday was a huge day for Warner Bros. and DC as it was announced that the Snyder Cut of the Justice League film will be available for us to see on HBO Max sometime next year. Whether you like the decision or not there is one thing that we can agree on. This was a brilliant marketing move by Warner Bros. for their streaming service which will launch on May 27th.

We had already seen director Zack Snyder do a screening of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice where he had teased that his movie needed a sequel. We all know what happened when unfortunately Snyder had to step down and Joss Whedon was brought in to patch up the film. this left many fans craving more as there were many moments from Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League that had no payoff. Then last week it was announced that Snyder would be doing another screening via Vero of Man of Steel.

The weekend before rumors hit the web that the Snyder Cut had been shown to executives and that it had a possible home on HBO Max sometime soon. With that we all tuned in on Wednesday morning to see if we were finally going to get answers. At the end of the live-stream Snyder invited special guest Henry Cavill who plays Clark Kent aka Superman in his DC films. It is at this time that the fate of the Snyder Cut was revealed. HBO Max released a short clip that they are calling “The Moment” so that fans can relive the announcement by Snyder. You can check it out above.

This honestly is something that I didn’t think was possible. Especially because Warner Bros. had moved away from some of the actors specifically Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne aka Bruce Wayne. Regardless of the state of the DCEU, they are ready to throw around $20-$30 million to finish it up. Then we can all come together and once and for all put this to bed. It might surprise many and be a great version of the film. Or it could be just as disappointing as the theatrical version that we got in theaters.
