Chris Hemsworth says Thor shoots January. There has been much discussion on exactly when Thor: Love and Thunder would begin shooting in Australia. Now we have answer. Hemsworth also spoke about trying to do something different in this version of Thor. Consdiering how the God of Thunder has evolved across his last three movies that seems no easy feat.

“[I’m] very excited to try to do something different, you know, the last three films we certainly pushed the envelope and created different versions of the character, and now people expect some dramatic changes. So we’ve got our work cut out in that sense.”

I’m not sure I expect drastic changes from Thor overall. I do expect drastic changes from the Thor we last saw in Avengers: Endgame. So I kinda get where Hemsworth is coming from. Really, we don’t know just how this version of Thor will have developed. I expect the triumph in Endgame to have alleviated some of Thor’s mental issues, but he’s also never going to the same guy from Avengers again. It’s going to be interesting for sure.
We know that at some point Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster will become Thor and wield either Mjolnir, or her own hammer. We pretty much know that this will all happen against a plot of Jane Foster having Cancer in her Human form also. How all this happens and what any of it has to do with the confirmed Space Sharks is anyone’s guess. However I have grown to trust Taiki Waititi, so I have no concerns going into this movie.
