Are you ready to feel like a completely lazy and undeserving piece of human waste? I have pretty rock-solid self-esteem, and recent photos of Henry Cavill hitting the web have still done a number on me. No, I don’t necessarily want to look as buff as him, but holy crap does it make me at least feel a little bit like a vehicle of wasted potential.

In those recent photos of Cavill, he managed to even put his 2013 self to shame — and he was still a pretty big dude in that. If you wanted another look at him, well fret not. Strength and conditioning coach David Rienzi showed off another photo of Cavill signing a life-size figure of Superman, and his shoulders and biceps are roughly the size of his own head.

As indicated in the caption, it looks like the reason behind Cavill’s bulking up is his upcoming role in The Witcher:

“Incredibly productive trip to Budapest to prep and train @HenryCavill for key scenes in the upcoming @Netflix series #TheWitcher.

“His choice to take things to the next level is no small task as he’s currently working a grueling shoot schedule working French hours(12+ hour days -no lunch breaks) plus an additional 2 hours for hair and make up prep. His 110% commitment is no joke.

“Thank you to Adam @FlexgymBudapest where this Superman statue now lives.”

As someone with only a passing familiarity of The Witcher, I’m actually a bit surprised that he’s bulking up so much for a role that may not seem to require a lot of skin or physique showing — but, that’s just me flaunting my ignorance.
