Today we share a Henry Cavill Mass Effect trilogy rumor, which kinda began with Cavill himself. Whilst making The Witcher Cavill posted an image on Instagram. Or if you prefer to check out analysis of what it all meant, try here at Game Pressure.
Cut a long story short, some pages with blurry words were cleaned up. The words spotted might not means anything to most fans, but Mass Effect fans did understand them. Thus began rumors that Cavill would either be involved in some adaptation of Mass Effect for the big or small screen, or was involved in a new game.
However, yesterday the folks over at GiantFreakinRobot released an exclusive story. In their article they say that Henry Cavill will be directly involved in a Mass Effect trilogy of movies. Not only are three movies planned, but a potential streaming series as well. Now, the article does not say whether Cavill is to star in the project, just that he is involved. Unless Cavill was trolling the fans big time, this much appears to be true. However, whether it is a trilogy and whether Cavil stars etc, we just don’t know?

As always, take this one with a pinch of salt until we get more solid details. However, there is something with Mass Effect and Henry Cavill brewing, that much seems a little more than rumor. The Mass Effect games were super popular RPG’s from the early days of the PS360 generation. I don’t really know the full story of Mass Effect, but I have friends who are big time into the Universe. One of my friends says that the story in Mass Effect is his favorite in any video game he has ever played. Sounds right up my street also, despite not having played the game.
If a Henry Cavill Mass Effect trilogy is coming and he is playing Commander Shephard? Well, no complaints from me, that’s all I’ll say. I guess we will have to wait for a few more details around this? As always, leave any thoughts you have below.
