Hours after the announcement Tuesday morning of the passing of legendary actress and filmmaker Penny Marshall, a flood of condolences and sympathy came raining in on social media. Celebrity friends of the iconic entertainer let their feelings be known regarding the death of one of their own. Having an especially difficult time with Marshall’s passing is Rosie O’Donnell, who formed a strong friendship with her since starring in Marshall’s A League Of Their Own. O’Donnell shared a commercial the two did together for K-Mart in 1996 and pictures of the two, including the one below from Saturday Night Live:
