Home Sweet Home Alone | Ally Maki On Being Part Of Next Chapter of The Franchise [Exclusive Interview]

Home Sweet Home Alone

If we are talking about Home Alone, it must be the holiday season. Usually, we are talking about the two classic films from the 90s. The ones that were made iconic by Macaulay Culkin’s Kevin. Through his ingenuity, he was able to hold off a pair of bandits twice with an array of brutal traps. We can all agree that these films continue to be so much fun despite their age. But this year just as we are all hyped for Disney+ Day announcements, Walt Disney Pictures has released a new chapter in the franchise titled Home Sweet Home Alone.

This new tale spotlights young Max Mercer, played by the talented Archie Yates. The name should ring a bell as he was fabulous in Jojo Rabbit. He is faced with a desperate couple played by Rob Delaney and Ellie Kemper Jeff and Pam McKenzie. They believe that Max has stolen an expensive treasure and they are obsessed with getting it back. Being that they are fairly vanilla when it comes to their lives, the journey to retrieving this treasure becomes quite complicated. Furthermore by a mischievous and resourceful Max who wants nothing more than to protect his house. One that he has been left alone in by his family.
