Malta may be one of the most beautiful cities on the planet. Filming an action film in an old complex city may be a challenge, but director Isaac Florentine accomplished this in the movie Hounds of War.

Here is the official synopsis:

Frank Grillo, Robert Patrick, and Rhona Mitra star in Hounds of War about the best military mercenaries money can buy. Known as ‘The Hounds,’ they are sent on a final mission by their creator: a carefully planned trap set up to destroy them.

LRM Online’s Gig Patta chatted with director Isaac Florentine about the logistics and challenges of shooting fight sequences and car chases in Malta and working with his cast.

Isaac Florentine is an Israeli director best known for his action and martial arts films. His credits included Undisputed II: Last Man Standing, Undisputed III: Redemption, Ninja, Ninja: Shadow of a Tear, and Close Range.
