Neil LaBute loved Bram Stoker’s Dracula novel that he wondered about a “what if” scenario for the three vampire seductresses from the book. From that idea, he wrote the story of House of Darkness, which features the three women in modern times by continuing their bloodthirsty exploits over hundreds of years.
The two lead actors are Justin Long (Live Free or Die Hard, Jeepers Creepers) and Kate Bosworth (Blue Crush, Win a Date with Tad Hamilton) in this deadly one-night stand.
Here is the official synopsis:
Driving home to her secluded estate after meeting at a local bar, a player out to score things with his beautiful, mysterious date will be another casual hook-up. While getting acquainted, their flirtation turns playful, sexy, and sinister. Hoping to get lucky, his luck may have just run out.
The film also stars Gia Crovatin (Dirty Weekend, Billions) and Lucy Walters (Power, Get Shorty).
