House of the Dragon Season 2 sets a premiere date and releases two new trailers, one for team Green and one for team Black. First off House of the Dragon returns to HBO on June 16th. As you’d expect, this is a Sunday evening, as per Season 1 and parent series Game of Thrones.
HBO has also released two separate trailer for Season 2, one for team Green and one for team Black. This is a fun idea from a marketing standpoint. Shorter trailers, but split in to to put the focus on either side of this civil war. The first trailer below, asks you to make a choice between Green and Black. However, like everyone else, you can just watch both of them.

I’m not sure I’m team Black or Green, at least not yet. Both sides are pretty despicable in different ways, though I guess so far Green feels worst. That may change though if you know some of what is to come in the war ahead.

As per the related link above, we knew Season 2 was coming in June. However, this is the first we’ve had a solid date in June to go off of. For me, It’ll be early Monday morning when it hits. I may stay up for the finale, but I’ll probably wait till Monday after work before watching most weeks. Also, as I did in Season 1, I will be covering episodic reviews for House of the Dragon Season 2. Season 1 was great, better than I expected it to be. Therefore, I am looking forward to Season 2 quite a bit. Can’t wait.
