Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is coming soon and here’s where you can find details on the release date, platforms, Collectors Edition and more. As an Xbox Game Pass subscriber myself I noticed yesterday that the pre-install screen is up. I will be downloading the game. Though, I’m not sure why I’d need to have it installed this early?
The latest information about this game was revealed at Gamescom’s Opening Night Live. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will launch December 9, 2024 on Xbox Series X|S and PC. The game is also available as a day one title on Game Pass. Microsoft also confirmed the game will arrive on PlayStation 5 in Spring 2025. So PlayStation fans can get in on the Indy action as well after a short delay. A smart move I feel, which does nothing but make MS money on sales.
Xbox has now opened up pre-orders for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. As usual, there are multiple editions available. All pre-orders will come with The Last Crusade Pack, which features in-game cosmetics the Traveling Suit Outfit and the Lion Tamer Whip.
The Premium and Premium Upgrade Editions offer three days of early access, which means you’ll be able to jump in and play starting December 6th. These also include the upcoming Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of the Giants story DLC upon its release. Also the Temple of Doom Outfit cosmetic, and a digital-art book. We have no more details yet on the DLC or how it ties in to the main game.

Lastly there is also a Collector Edition i.e. the most expensive one. This comes with everything in the Premium Editions, plus an 11″ Great Circle Globe that features a puzzle mechanic that can be solved to unlock a hidden storage compartment. The Collector’s Edition also includes an Allmaker Relic replica, Adventure Journal and SteelBook® display case. I have to say that edition looks damn nice for an Indy fan like me, but I’m not paying silly money for a game I can play day one on Game Pass.

It remains to be seen if this will be a great game to play. However, it looks like a damn fun Indiana Jones story, so I’m giving it a shot anyway.
Sounds like December I’ll have to take some time off Destiny 2.
