Indiana Jones Movies Coming To Disney+ Alongside Loki Season 2 And Echo Release Dates

Starfield director Todd Howard gives a small update on the progress of Elder Scrolls VI and Indiana Jones Games coming from Bethesda.

Some hot Disney+ news broke over the last 24 hours. The Indiana Jones movies are finally coming to Disney+. The Mouse also revealed release dates for Loki Season 2 and Echo. Though with Echo, there’s some even more surprising news to cover. First of all, let’s start with the Indy news.

Indiana Jones Movies On Disney+

The first four Indiana Jones movies are coming to Disney+ finally on May 31st. Check out the announcement below.

Disney+ was always going to be the home of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. However, as I’m sure you know, the first four Indiana Jones movies are kinda owned by Paramount. Disney picked up the IP when they bought Lucasfilm, but Paramount has the rights to the original movies. Interestingly, these movies have never appeared on Paramount+ either, which means it was complicated at their end I assume also.

At least this means we do get all four movies to a streaming provider, probably with a few bucks changing hands between Disney and Paramount. How long will this deal last, who knows? However, once Dual of Destiny finally finds it’s way onto streaming it will be the only place you’ll ever catch all five movies by the same provider. Let’s hope it’s a long term deal and we get a proper home for all the movies for the foreseeable.

Loki Season 2 And Echo

The Indiana Jones movies are finally coming to Disney+. The Mouse also revealed release dates for Loki Season 2 and Echo.

Switching over to the MCU, as said above we also have release dates for Loki Season 2 and Echo. As per Variety, after Marvel boss Kevin Feige announced during the Disney Upfront on Tuesday.

The Season 2 premiere of “Loki” will debut Oct. 6. A month later, in a first for a Marvel series, all episodes of “Echo” will release at once on Nov. 29.

Okay, what? Loki Season 2, October 6th, great I gotcha and I’m excited to see it. Loki was my favorite of all the Marvel Disney+ shows so far. However, the Echo news is very surprising. So far none of the bigger Disney+ shows has binge released like is happening with Echo. Even Netflix have started changing their own binge watch model because weekly releases just seem to wok better for fans.

I do wonder if this means Marvel are not that confident about the show? Is the move to release all at once really an experiment or a way to make us less annoyed about it on a weekly basis? We had heard there were various issues with Echo, so for this to be the show to ‘trail’ this approach with just seems more than coincidental. I guess we will find out?

So, what do you think folks as The Indiana Jones movies are finally coming to Disney+? What are you opinions on Loki Season 2 news and that Echo is dropping all at once? As always, leave any thoughts below.
