The indie film Influence may hit too close to home for many actors, writers, directors, and influencers in the Hollywood industry. So many people struggle to succeed in the industry and do not realize the mental toll and sacrifices it may take to achieve.

The film stars Cheyenne Perez and Grace Kaufman (Man With a Plan) from the writer/director Ryan Moore (Echo) in this indie thriller.

Here is a brief description of the film:

In Influence, Cheyenne Perez stars as Patricia, a filmmaker towing the line of stability as she struggles with her career and mental health. When she ultimately reaches a breaking point, she kidnaps a famous social media influence (Grace Kaufman) in an attempt to coerce them into playing the lead role in her latest project.

Cheyenne Perez is best known for her role as Jo in the Max series The Sex Lives of College Girls. She also had roles in the Apple TV+ series For All Mankind and the new series Frasier on Paramount+. Also, she appeared in the holiday film Spirited and Girl Meets World, 9-1-1, and Platonic.
