Hulu’s Into the Dark returns with a second season with the first episode, Tentacles.
The Synopsis
Tentacles is a psychological horror-thriller about a young Los Angeles couple Tara (Dana Drori) and Sam (Casey Deidrick) who fall heads over heels into a new romance, entwining their lives – until their intimacy transforms into something terrifying.
Alexandra Pechman is the writer of this story. Her writing has been published in magazines like Vogue, Vanity Fair, The Guardian, The New York Times and many others. Her last project as a writer was in Channel Zero on Syfy.
Clara Aranovich makes her return to the Into The Dark series with Tentacles. Aranovich directed season one’s How To Succeed in Business Without Really Dying. She started her career in the entertainment industry as an actress in films like Part of Diseases and Yosemite. Her directing work has been seen on television series like Netflix Stranger Things: Spotlight and an episode of the PBS documentary The Migrant Kitchen.

Dana Drori is the protagonist in Tentacles. Drori has made several television appearances in series like NBC’s Taken and the Showtime series The Affair. Last year she was seen in Hulu’s High Fidelity and the film Freaky with Kathryn Newton and Vince Vaughn.
Kasey Elise is a writer and actress. She joins Into the Dark: Tentacles as Sam’s (Casey Deidrick) best friend. She has been seen in television shows like Big Time Rush, Boomerang Kids and last year in All American. In 2020 she was also seen in the film North Hollywood.
I had the opportunity to connect with the writer, director and actresses of the Into The Dark: Tentacles. Alexandra Pechman shared what inspired her to write this story. Clara Aranovich spoke about the scene she enjoyed shooting. Dana Drori and Kasey Elise talked about their character in the new horror drama.
