Dennis To is back for another IP Man film. This time for IP Man: Kung Fu, the fourth film of the IP Man franchise. The IP Man films are based on Wing Chun life events. It’s known, Wing Chu was not only Bruce Lee’s teacher but also the grandmaster of martial arts.

 

The Synopsis

IP MAN: KUNG FU MASTER harks back to Ip’s early days before the Communist Revolution in 1949. Ip, portrayed by Dennis To for the third time as the martial artist who famously tutored Bruce Lee, was then a police captain who was framed for the murder of a ruthless but honorable mobster, and targeted for vengeance by his dangerous daughter. Forced to quit the force, Ip soon also has to contend with the arrival of the Japanese army in Guangzhou.

The film stars: Dennis To, Yuan Li Ruoxin, Tong Xiaohu, Yue Dongfeng, Chang Qinyuan, Zhao Xioguang, Ren Yu and Michael Wong

Yu-Hang To is known as Dennis To. He was born in Hong Kong on New Year’s day in 1981. Before being an actor he practiced martial arts. To competed in numerous competitions and has won several medals. His acting career began as he started taking minor acting roles. Today he is best known for the Ip Man, but in between he has been doing other films like The Woman Knight of Mirror Lake, Call of the Undead and Wu Dang
