Here we are with your latest installment in the Snyder Cut saga. Even though I actually would love to see a Snyder Cut, I almost wish they would release something so that all these rumors would stop.
Michael Bay’s Netflix action film, 6 Underground, was already ridiculously rumored to be a cover for a Thundercats film, and some people have taken 6 Underground star Ryan Reynolds’ comments a bit too literally.
Cinema Blend was at CCXC in Brazil where Ryan Reynolds made the comment:
“I play a guy who made a lot of money through various inventions and then I witness something terrible happen so I decide to take control of matters outside of government and I recruit a group of individuals with various skills to help me take down a dictator. So, basically what I’m saying is that this is the Snyder Cut.”
So that means he is Batman, right? Reynolds is clearly just joking. Even though the plots do parallel each other, he is being facetious in typical Ryan Reynolds fashion, but a nice way to bring some attention to the film nonetheless.
Who knows if we will ever actually see the enigma that is the Synder Cut. Until then, if you want to see another team-up action film with Micahel Bay explosions, you can check out Ryan Reynolds in 6 Underground when it hits Netflix this Friday.
Are you tired of hearing about the Snyder Cut, or does it give your the slightest glimmer of hope that we may see it one day? It seems to be gaining more steam now than ever. Maybe absence does make the heart grow fonder and our interest is peaked because we can’t yet have it. What do you think? Will you be checking out 6 Underground? Leave your thoughts in the usual spot, and thanks for reading!
