Is Henry Cavill in The Flash? Ask me that question a week ago and I’d have simply said, not that we know of, and really only one small detail has changed in that time. Yesterday a leaked image of The Flash showed Ezra Miller in his new costume, this was taken off social media all over the place through copyright claims, so you’d need someone to DM you an image now to see it. In all honesty though, with the image being removed, there is not much of a story in that image leak, unless you caught it at the time.

However, where this story does get interesting is that the person who originally leaked the image claimed that Henry Cavill would play Superman in The Flash. Big news if true, but is it true?

However as much as we know ViewerAnon has some inside sources, we also know that Umberto Gonzalez is one of the best for having sources within DC itself, so he had a different take.

He isn't going to be in The Flash and in fact doesn't currently have a deal to reprise Supes in any movie.

So where does that leave us? Is Henry Cavill in The Flash or not?

I dunno? LRM has no DC sources of our own, so there’s nothing I can add which will convince you either way. If I had to make a judgment call, gun to my head, I’ll go with Umberto. He just seems too certain, so unless there has been some new development out of the blue that Umberto isn’t aware of, I think this might be off. However that’s three separate people who have no claimed Cavill is in The Flash, the image leaker, and the two sources ViewerAnon mentions above.

It could well just be fans wanting to see it and pretending they have. That might seem weird to you or I, but I’ve seen this so many times it’s unreal. Someone see’s some information and tries to capitalize on it, by pretending to add additional support. After all, we live in a world where certain unnamed outlets will run stories that the vast majority know are lies just because they also know they’ll still get traffic from the ignorant, and the search engines. Hence why we always say take all rumors with a dose of salt. However as time goes by you get to know who gives good information, and who does not.

That won’t help us here though. So I guess we will simply have to wait and see who was right all along? Tell us what you think below, is Henry Cavill in The Flash or not?
