Is Spider-Man Seen In This Morbius Scoring Clip?

Spider-Man Morbius3

We all saw the image above many months ago. A leaked picture from the then-upcoming Morbius movie trailer sent the world into a spiral. Spider-Man and Morbius were in the same movie! However, many people pointed out that this was a screenshot of the Raimi suit from the PS4 video game… and that drove the internet even more crazy because some people still can’t accept that the Raimi films, while good for their time, don’t hold up. Thoughts and rumors about a Spider-Verse, Sony and Marvel being mum, and then came the trailer…

Spider-Man Morbius 2

That’s right… The Vulture. A character not only connected to Spider-Man (Tom “Best Spidey Ever” Holland version) but also connected to the grander MCU through Tony Stark! Shocking right? Well, it was then. Now we have no clue with what is going on in the world of the Web-Head because there are new rumors every other day about past and present Spider-Men meeting as well as Electro coming back. Well, let’s see if we can add to the muddy waters with the following tweet:

Yes, they put a spoiler warning on this, but around the 40-second mark there appears to be some sort of chase scene and what looks like Spidey swinging through the streets. Now… I am not sure if this is Spidey or Morbius himself. We know he is able to jump and cling to things thangs to the full trailer. It could also be (sigh…) Venom. One thing for certain though, the music for the film actually sounds pretty good.

Personally, I have accepted the Sony Universe of Marvel Characters will mix with the MCU. I have faith in Kevin Feige to keep the ship straight and not let Sony garabage ruin our near-perfect Spider-Man. That’s right. I said it.

What do you think we’re seeing on the screen? How do you feel about the Spider-Man Morbius connection? Let us know in the comments below!
