Is The New ‘Chronicles of Narnia’ Script Finished?

There’s been something of a drought with regard to news about The Chronicles of Narnia: The Silver Chair. Until now, that is.

Writer David Magee revealed on twitter last week that he has completed the final draft of the script for the film, which is surely a good sign.

Silver Chair would be the fourth Narnia film to hit theaters, and it was originally slated to drop at some point in 2016. Right now little is known about the overall status of the project, but the fact that a final draft has been turned in should mean that more information should start to pour out of the production.

The filmmakers will likely be really cautious about how they proceed, since fantasy films like these aren’t cheap to produce and the last film (2010’s The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of The Dawn Treader) didn’t exactly set the world on fire.
