Fans may finally have a glimpse of what Sonic the Hedgehog will look like in the upcoming animated film. Branding and art experts Hamagami/Carroll Inc had a page on their website (that has since been taken down) that showed a fully lit Sonic. Until now fans had only seen a shadow of the famous hedgehog that was released on the first poster, which you can see at the top of the article.
The website Kotatku picked up the story and even tweeted about it. You can check out their post below and see what you think of Sonic, if this is in fact what the big screen version will look like.
This is probably the movie version of Sonic the Hedgehog. https://t.co/FqdCGHp9Ki pic.twitter.com/4lFQVdjMH5

While there is no official word, the fact that the company took down the page featuring the photo, leads me to believe this is the version of the character we will soon see on the screen. It looks alright to me, though I was never a huge fan of the character or the games. I enojoyed playing the original game as a child, but I was definitely more of a Mario kid (who is anotehr chracter that will be receiving an animated film soon).
