It Looks Like Mantis Is In Thor: Love And Thunder

This is hardly surprising given what we already know, but it looks like Mantis is in Thor: Love and Thunder. So far we think both Star Lord and Groot are set to appear in the fourth Thor movie, how many other Guardians will show up? There appears to be no evidence to suggest Drax or Rocket will appear, yet, but Mantis now looks set. Could we hear the other two aforementioned characters added before shooting?

Honestly, for that to happen I would think Dave Bautista and Sean Gunn would have to be in Australia already. We now know Pom Klementieff is in Australia, probably to quarantine for filming. A recent Instagram post from Klementieff saw Thor: Love and Thunder director Taiki Waititi respond by jokingly telling the actress to “Hurry up”. Check it out courtesy of Marvel News Brazil.

It’s possible that Bautista could be in Australia and we don’t yet know? However we seem to have found out quickly enough when all the other Guardians stars appeared. Rocket would not require Bradley Cooper’s presence on set, but would require physical performer Sean Gunn I guess? Perhaps, for whatever reason, Drax and Rocket are not featured, or only featured in small cameos? Lots of question there and no answers I’m afraid. For now all we can say is that evidence points to the fact Star Lord, Groot, and Mantis is in Thor: Love and Thunder.

With Thor last seen heading into space with the Guardians, it makes sense that some of these characters will appear. I think most fans expected that we might see Thor show up in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. At this point though, there is no guarantee Thor and the Guardians will still be together ‘in Universe’ by the time of Guardians 3.

Are you happy to see that Mantis is in Thor: Love and Thunder? Do you also hope for Drax and Rocket? Just how crazy will Thor: Love and Thunder be? Leave your thoughts below.
