It’s Almost Here! Selena: The Series Part 2 Comes To Netflix Tomorrow

Selena: The Series

If you forgot that Netflix is releasing part 2 of Selena: The Series May 4, I’ve got your back. The second part will be on Netflix tomorrow and I’m hoping we will be able to binge-watch like we did with part 1. Part 1 was released on December 4, 2020 with 9 episodes.

Selena: The Series Part 2

The series is about the life of Selena Quintanilla and her road to success with her family, covering all the highs and lows of being a traveling band. In part 1, we get more of a focus of the whole family and their Tejano band, Selena Y Los Dinos, as well as the struggle of hiding her romance with bandmate, Chris Perez.

The trailer for part 2 shows us the pull of her moving solo and the strain it puts on Selena, her family, and her new husband, Chris. Additionally, we get introduced to her fan club president, Yolanda Saldivar. Sadly, we know how this turns out.

Honestly, this will a season that will be hard for many to finish since we know what happens to Selena. I assume many tears will be shed, mine included. My family and I lived in Texas for a few years when I was very little. When my parents bought the movie, I was hooked. Also, I bought her CDs with my own allowance. Her music meant a lot to many people.
