The Mandalorian Season 2 release date revealed!

For the past few weeks, fans have been wondering what in the hell is going on with The Mandalorian. There had been little to nothing in the way of marketing to show for the upcoming second season. This has led to new rumors surrounding the season and its potential quality. In fact, mere minutes ago, we dropped a new story revolving around that very subject, where we, along with a few others, debunk the idea that The Mandalorian Season 2 is in any real trouble (click the related link below for that). But either way, the reality is we still have no marketing to show for The Mandalorian Season 2.

Well, that changes now. Sort of. StarWars.com just gave us an official release date for the new season. The popular Disney+ show will return on October 30 to the streamer. So, if there was any concern that all this non-news surrounding the bounty-hunting hero and his pint-sized sidekick, you can lay them to rest.

Unfortunately, if you were hoping for more details about The Mandalorian Season 2, then I have some bad news for you: there were none. No trailer, no synopsis, no image. Nothing to show for it. While that may be pretty underwhelming and alarming for some fans, I wouldn’t worry just yet. Later on today, we have a report where we’ll dig into a few small details behind the “why” of it all. Why we have yet to see a trailer for a show that’s hitting literally next month.

Until then, celebrate the fact that El Mando and the Child will be returning for what is sure to be another galaxy-hopping adventure. I’d also hang tight for plenty of other Star Wars fan-favorite characters to pop up. There are big things coming from the live-action TV side of Star Wars, and The Mandalorian Season 2 is sure to be the launching pad for all of that content.
