Jai Courtney To Return As Captain Boomerang In James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad

With Shazam! being certified fresh on RottenTomatoes the comic book adaptation of DC are on the way up, after being the butt of many jokes of the superhero film world. As most of you know by now, James Gunn is hading up a near total reboot of the Suicide Squad franchise.

As it were, Jai Courtney is now confirmed to be resprising his role as Captain Boomerang from the 2016film Suicide Squad, which let’s just say wasn’t the most well received effort by both critics and fans. The actor recently spoke with Business Insider and spoke abotu his return as the character. You can check out what he had to say below.

“We’re getting ready to shoot in a few months’ time. There’s not much else I can reveal about it but yet, you’ll be seeing Boomerang back for sure. I’m happy, it’s going to be fun. It will be different, for sure, but it’s going to be great.”

I, like many fans are interested to see what James Gunn brings us on the DC side of things, considering his massive success with the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise on the Marvel side, from which he was fired from for decade old, inappropriate tweets, and recently rehired.
