James Bond: Billie Eilish’s No Time To Die Theme Is Moody AF [Plus Preview Trailer]

At this time, you’d think people would know better than to doubt the James Bond producers. Whenever the singer is revealed for each new Bond entry, people freak out, only to be silenced when the song is finally released. As far as I’m concerned, the Daniel Craig era of James Bond has resulted in no less than two amazing songs in “You Know My Name” and “Skyfall,” so I knew they were due for a success in No Time to Die.

Enter Billie Eilish. Current pop sensation — meaning pretty much everyone and their mother is already turning on her, claiming she’s only famous due to her connection. I mean, granted, that may be true, but she has an engaging style of music that clearly resonates with a lot of people, so I was at least interested in what she’d offer in No Time to Die.

Last night, they released new song in its entirety for everyone to judge. Check it out down below!

The song itself, in my opinion, is pretty well-made and engaging. Eilish does seem to be doing what she does best — whisper singing. But I’m not saying it’s a bad thing. It works well for this song, but I can’t help but wonder what terrible misfortunes await James Bond, as this song doesn’t sound very optimistic.

Luckily, MGM didn’t wait to release an official theme song preview companion. And yes, things look dark AF.

What do you think of the new song? Like me, do you think Aladdin’s “Speechless” would have made an equally good song? Let us know down below!
