James Gunn teases multiple post credit scenes in The Suicide Squad. As Gunn is want to do, he answered a question posed by a fan on Twitter. The question was simply, will The Suicide Squad have a post credit scene? Gunn’s even simpler answer was “A?”. Clearly indicating that yes, there will be a post credit scene, more than one.

The implication is clear, but how many post credit scenes we are talking about here who knows/ It could be anything from two to, I dunno, seven? In my head, when I saw this post from Gunn I starting thinking of what I would do. Not knowing how his story unfolds I can just image several post credit scenes showing those we had thought survived all dying some other way. Of course that’s just my crazy head and has nothing to do with what Gunn has planned for his movie.
We do know that the movie is finished, meaning Gunn is happy, stopped tinkering and probably has those scenes in place. Could there be set-ups for what comes in the future of the DCEU, it’s certainly possible. I look to the Guardians of the Galaxy movies where the credits were a fun ride in themselves. If we get something that cool for The Suicide Squad then it will suit this fan.

The Suicide Squad hits theaters and HBO Max on August 6th of this year in the States. However the movie is scheduled for a theater only release in some countries like the U.K. on July 30th. The question is, will those theaters in the U.K. be open fully by July 30th? I’m guessing the movie will hit our own Video on Demand service at the same time as it hits HBO Max in the U.S. but that’s not been announced.
