While James Gunn initially getting canned from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 may have been one of the saddest pieces of news for many fans, it seems like it’s ultimately going to pay off in spades for both fans and Gunn alike. Rather than just shepherding the MCU’s galactic side and capping off his trilogy, Gunn is now also set to be in charge of another team of misfits in The Suicide Squad.

With Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 looking to start production next year, fall of 2019 is looking to be the best time for Gunn to start on his DC-centric project. While we’ve known that for a bit, specific dates have eluded us until now. But Geek Vibes Nation is reporting on a rather specific time table for The Suicide Squad to go through production.

While we can neither confirm nor deny the validity of these dates, this does seem to line up with all the other stuff we’ve heard in the past regarding all the major projects on Gunn’s plate.  Needless to say, you can expect plenty of set photos for this film when it hits production. While Marvel projects aren’t immune to paparazzi, DC films seem to be especially prone. So look forward to those!
