Jay and Silent Bob Reboot is set to be a long-ass love letter to those of us who grew to love film through the prism of Kevin Smith movies. Over the course of a little over a decade, we got to see some dudes work in a convenience store, walk around a mall, work in the comic book world, save the world from a couple of rogue angels, try to stop a film from getting made, and finally, working in a fast food restaurant.

Over the course of these movies, a lot has happened, and audiences have met a lot of memorable characters. In Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, Smith’s upcoming movie, we know that we’ll be seeing a lot of these guys return for one final hurrah (assuming this is the last one…but you never know). We recently reported on Rosario Dawson returning, but she’s not the only female lead making a big return.

For those who have no idea who Alyssa Jones is, she’s the female lead in Chasing Amy, which is arguably Kevin Smith’s strongest film to date. Given that this was posted today, following the announcement that the movie has wrapped production — and given that Ben Affleck recently said he’d be up for coming back…a part of me is hoping this is a pickup scene between Affleck (who was the male lead in Chasing Amy) and Adams…though I know that’s wishful thinking.
