Longtime Kevin Smith fans will know that, in spite of its title, Chasing Amy features exactly 0% Amy in it. Instead, the love interest of Holden is named Alyssa Jones. The titular Amy is actually an ex-girlfriend of Silent Bob, and in an extended monologue, Bob talks about how he ruined that relationship thanks to his insecurity in their relationship, leading him on a neverending quest to reclaim the greatness of that relationship — hence chasing Amy.

I pretty much gave that story very little thought out of context of the film, but some diehards out there have been putting a lot of thought into some interconnected Kevin Smith theories, and one such theory speculates that some character from Yoga Hosers (easily Smith’s worst movie) is actually Amy.

In a Vanity Fair video, Smith debunks this theory — which is easy enough — but then he goes on to say that his new movie, Jay and Silent Bob Reboot actually reveals the Amy to audiences.
