Kevin Smith is about to be a busy man, last week we heard all about his involvement with the Howard the Duck animated series that is set to air on Hulu. And most of us already knew that Jay and Silent Bob was getting a reboot.

Today we learn from the man himself, Kevin Smith that the reboot will begin shooting next Monday. Smith announced the news via his Twitter account, you can check out the post below.

“I first posted about #JayAndSilentBobReboot on Instagram 2/9/17. It’s been 2 years and 1 week since that post, during which time I almost died. But a week from Monday, we finally start rolling on Reboot. Never give up, Kids. Even when your heart wants to.”

It’s good to know things are about to get rolling with the film. Does that world need more Jay and Silent Bob? Probably, but one thing is for sure is that the world wants more Jay and Silent Bob, it seems to anyway, and the duo are always welcome here at LRM.

I am totally cool with Smith working on projects such as this,as far as bringing back his established characters and the Howard the Duck series. Please, just keep him busy enough to where he doesn’t make another, just extremely disturbing film like Tusk. I had no idea Kevin Smith could go that dark.
