Jeanne Tripplehorn and LaMonica Garrett hold high ranking names in Prime Video’s new series The Terminal List.
The Synopsis
Based on the best-selling novel by Jack Carr, The Terminal List follows James Reece (Chris Pratt, “Guardians of the Galaxy”) after his entire platoon of Navy SEALs is ambushed during a high-stakes covert mission. Reece returns home to his family with conflicting memories of the event and questions about his culpability. However, as new evidence comes to light, Reece discovers dark forces working against him, endangering not only his life, but the lives of those he loves.
Before making it to the big screen, Jeanne Tripplehorn performed at a local Tulsa television show Creature Feature and Night Shift. As well as a local rock station KMOD. A few years later left to attend Julliards in New York then came Broadway. She was in hits like The big Funk with Val Kilmer as a co-star among several others. Tripplehorn’s film debut was in 1992 with Basic Instinct. Other hits followed in the 90s like The Firm with Tom Cruise, Waterworld, Sliding Doors, Mickey Blue Eyes and many others since then. Television series have been a big part of her career like Criminal Minds, Exeter, Mrs.America and the recent HBO series The Gilded Age.

The Californian actor, LaMonica Garrett was named after the Oakland Raiders football player Daryle LaMonica. Before the acting career came he lived an athletic life between football and slamball. Thanks to these athletic abilities he was seen on the One Tree Hill series. In addition to other television shows like Suits, FX’s hit show Sons of Anarchy, Netflix’s Designated Survivor, The Last Ship, Arrow and the latest Paramount hit 1883. There have also been projects on the big screen like Primal and Clemency.
With the release of The Terminal List I was connected with Jeanne Tripplehorn and LaMonica Garrett via Zoom. They both shared their experience in getting to work with Chris Pratt and of their scenes. Garrett discusses a little more about getting to film in water.
